The quality of the jacket is superb. Warm, light and fashionable. However, you need to read the size chart before ordering. for example, M size is 8-10 for some products, but this one is 10-12. You also need to decide how many layers you are going to have inside. I usually wear size 8. So I would order a small size jacket which is 6-8 in size chart provided by LLBEAN. Since I only want to have one layer inside, I decided to go for an XS one. I believe if you get a correct size, any of LLBEAN product will look good on you. I recommended LLBEAN to my friends.

I bought this jacket because it is fairly basic in design, no bells and whistles, but completely functional and a very GOOD Price, esp. when on sale after Christmas. I got a large and probably should have gotten an x large since it is snug on me. These seem to run a bit small. However I've decided to keep it because it is nice for town and is just large enough. I bought this in black and the one detail I don't like is that white down feathers keep popping up at the seams. Oh well.

I am very pleased with this jacket. It's exactly as it was described, very warm but not overly puffy so I don't look like a linebacker. The color is just as it looked on the website, and it arrived quickly. I'm sure I'll get a lot of use out of it, once this January thaw is over and we get back to normal Michigan winter!

I bought this jacket because I need warmth without bulk. This is exactly what I wanted! Very warm, squishy, no bulk. I can move and do all I need to do in this. Haven't washed it yet, so I don't know how the feathers will take the washing machine. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because I notice some feathers coming out every now and then. When I put a pair of gloves in the pocket, they come out with feathers.
