I purchased this coat two years ago and it's been great. Light, and cozy without being bulky. I'm 5'3" and a size 12 and decided to purchase the xl which gave me extra room for layers beneath when it's really cold. I love this jacket and would recomment it to anyone!
I really like this jacket; it's not poufy and 'stiff' like other down jackets I've had before. The collar on mine was actually dark grey on the inside (not white like in the picture) so that is an improvement. There are neat fleecy cuffs inside the sleeves to keep your arms warm, whick I like. I think I'll need a sweater underneath in the middle of winter (thats to be expected in IL!) but overall I'm very satisfied w/ my purchase
The jacket was as promised, roomy fit, lots of room for a sweater. It was more pink than fuchsia, I was expecting it to be more purple, but it is a really pretty pink, and it looks warm and well constructed. I am happy overall.
This is my third winter with this jacket, and i will be buying another one this year. I live in northern ONtario, and it is warm enough for these winters. It washes easily, and when you put it in the dryer, throw in some tenis balls to help blump it back up. Do not use fabric softener, as this will lessen the waterproofing.
