Outstanding Coat! Flattering but roomy fit. Extremely warm and comfortable. Non bulky. Gorgeous coat at a great price. Style meets practicality and comfort. VERY pleased.
I have bought both the long sleeved and vested versions of this jacket, and I love them both. The long sleeved jacket is fantastic for keeping warm when it hits -40C here up north in the winter. The vest is great for in-between weather. Easy to take care of, easy to wash, and priced much better than many competitors who ask for at least double. I will always go to LL Bean for down-filled jackets without question.
I liked how the jacket looked but it didn't work out. I'm 5'4" and wear size 12-14 and I bought the L 14-16 to have enough room for layers. The coat was snug, seemed too short and the sleeves were too short. Had to return it so I wasn't able to test it for warmth.
As always, LL Bean never disappoints !I live in a subtropical climate and I am very cold natured. So when I travel to where it really is cold,my jacket has saved the day for me more than once.
