I've had my eye on this coat for a while and am so glad I finally bought it! I've only had it a week, but have worn it everywhere since, including snowshoeing. I am 5'3" and 120 lbs. and the Small fits great with enough room for a sweater if needed. You could probably go a size smaller if you like a very fitted look - I like it a little roomy. The lining on the collar is a nice soft material, so no rubbing at all. I also like the drawcord around the waist and adjustable velcro & elastic on the wrists. I have spent more money on coats that were not as toasty warm and comfortable as this!
I do love this coat, it is so warm without the bulk...however, the arms are definitely too short. I am 5' 10'' and 150 lbs, so originally I ordered a Medium. But after wearing it a few times, I've decided to exchange for a Large. I have the Goose Down Vest in Medium, and it is almost too big, so I was surprised about the fit of the coat. I also wish it was a little longer in the back. Hoping the large will do the trick. I believe that the sleeves are too short due to the inner lining. It is tight around your wrists in order to prevent air and snow from coming in. But when driving and putting my arms up it is too tight and pulls at my clothing sleeves. The Dark Turquoise is darker than the picture, but I still like it.
I bought this jacket for my sister. She really loves it! She just went on and on about how great it fits, loved the style and color. Of course, that made me very happy as well. Another 5 star rating from a very satisfied customer. :)
This is the best winter coat I've ever had. It's so light and comfortable I forget I'm wearing it. I never thought it would keep me so warm even in the coldest weather. It 's the first thing I bought from LLbean and it certainly won't be the last. Thank you LLbean.
