LOVE IT! I wanted black, but I was not a fan of the inner gray lining. However, when I got it, the inside was all black, which was great! Also, I have been between Medium and Large for sizing. Usually I wear a size 8-10, but decided to go with the large. I am happy that I did because the sleeve length is perfect. I am not certain that the sleeve length would have been long enough on the medium. It's super lightweight and VERY warm! In fact, it's the warmest coat I own! I'd recommend this to anyone of any age! I wish I had more in other colors!!!
We get lots of snow and cold temps here in the mountains of Southern Co. I got this jacket in fushia---pretty---and it fits great. Not much room in it for a sweater BUT who needs it!? I have walked the dogs and shoveled snow in 6 degree weather with only a thermal shirt on top and come in nice and warm. This is definitely a great value---so light, pretty and WARM!
I had read reviews of this item previous to purchasing it. There were a few mixed reviews of the item- especially of the sizing of the item. I have to say, I just love it! At first i did purchase a Medium and then had to go back and exchange it for small. Of course, exchanging or returning items with LLBEAN is NO PROBLEM! So, my vote is- Buy this jacket!!!!
This is the best coat I've ever owned. I needed a winter coat for my son and the best reviewed men's coat was the goose down jacket. It also happened to be the least expensive. When it came, I liked it so much that I had to have one for myself. I wanted a coat that I could grab and run. This is perfect. It's warm, weighs next to nothing, and is incredibly comfortable. I just grab it off the hook and go. I don't even feel like I'm wearing a coat because it doesn't weigh anything and is very soft. Another nice thing is the zipper. It works beautifully and smoothly. I would recommend this to anyone.
