I love this jacket. It's a great short goose down that's not too bulky yet warm - at a good price. The blue periwinkle is beautiful and there are gloves (fairly warm) which match at LLBean. I ordered the jacket in Lg. (14/16) (but usually I am between a 12/14) and the fit was perfect. The quality is excellent -- and it has plently of pockets.
I was surprised at how warm this jacket was given its light weight. I loved the color(lily pond) as well. I found the arm openings and the wrist cuffs to be a little small, especially when wearing layers like a sweater. Other than that I really enjoy the jacket.
I have bought several coats from LLBean, and have never been disappointed, but I was shocked at how much warmer this coat was from any that I own! And, what a price! I love the fitted look and the warmth of this coat on a bitter day. Now trips to the school bus stop on a snowy morning are not only bearable, but enjoyable!
