Although our weather has not yet required me to wear my new down jacket, I was very happy with the sizing and appearance. Not looking forward to winter weather but am sure it will keep me nice and warm.
What I love about this jacket is the quality, the style, and the color. The quality is always there with LLBean; in fact you can see it when you just look at this item. The pockets are right where they should be and just roomy enough WITH ZIPPERS, which I love! The jacket falls right below the hips for additional warmth and coverage, it is very attractive, but more importantly, it fits me perfectly. This color just happens to be a good one for me- it makes my eyes pop! :) Thank you very much for all the wonderful products you make and your exceptional customer service.
I purchased this item last winter. I was looking for a jacket that was both stylish and very warm. This jacket turned out to be both. I used it every day for morning walks and trips to the grocery store. It fits so well (not bulky or puffy looking) that I used it for dressier occasions as well (jeans and high-heeled boots type events). My teenage daughter needed a jacket for walking to school this year. We purchased one for her a few weeks ago. So far, she loves it as well. The only thing that would make this jacket better is a snap-off down-insulated hood for windy snowy days.
