ProsGreat Value, Comfortable, Performing as Expected
Last year I purchased the blue periwinkle and I loved it but due to the light color I've washed it many times and it is still going strong and it seems to have a heavier fabric then the teal one I just purchased. I do prefer the fabric and fit of the blue periwinkle.
As other reviewers noted, boxy shape is not flattering. Arms are super puffy-- I looked like a line backer. Also, the fit was snug in the arms and chest, but big in shoulders and hips (size small.) Too bad, the sale price is so good. Sent this back.
I have always wanted a down jacket for the warmth without weight, but this is the first year that LLB has made down outerwear in Plus sizes. While all of my other tops and coats are XL, in this I need a 1X. I do NOT look like the Michelin Tire man: the shaping at the waist, hip length, and nicely curved droptail hem make the jacket flattering even for a size 18, and I am **warm**.
ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, Performing as Expected
I bought this jacket after looking for one for a while. Where I live, the local outdoor clothing brand sells a product almost the same, but it is about 350 USD! I was astonished at the amazing quality of this jacket, and how inexpensive it was. However, and this is very minor, the size of the jacket is about 1/2 size to big (I'm a fairly normal sized girl (size 10NZ = 6 US), but had to buy the size S in the misses' range), I found that it is a small bit figure-less, and i would have possibly gone with the XS if I had another chance. Also, and is probably due to the slight size difference in the jacket, the sleeves are about 1- 1 1/2 inches to long. However, overall this jacket is brilliant, and I will be recommending it to all of my friends.
