ProsGreat Value, Comfortable, Performing as Expected
This jacket is exactly what I was looking for...warm without feeling constricted. I really hate winter coats and wanted something that I could wear over a sweater or sweatshirt without feeling like a stuffed sausage. I was concerned that a few reviewers said it was "fitted"..it is somewhat but is it very roomy. I am somewhat busty and I ordered a medium. I was afraid it would be more snug than what I was looking for, but it is actually perfect.
I agree the sleeves could be one inch longer, but they hit me right at the wrist. The lining is a dark charcoal, so the image on the site is somewhat misleading. I was caught in the rain yesterday and the droplets beaded on the jacket.
I really like this coat. The only thing I would change is the length of the sleeves. I ordered a medium and the arms are a little short. I would like to be able to pull the sleeves down over my hands, but I can't with this coat. Otherwise, it is very warm and not too bulky.

We were a little concerned about the color we chose (dark fuchsia) but, when we received the coat in that color it was beautiful and it looks and feels so nice. It was going to be put under the Christmas tree, but my daughter-in-law decided she didn't want to wait and now she is hoping for colder weather. The coat itself is stitched professionally and it really looks like a well, put together jacket. I've looked around in my hometown, and there is just no comparison to the LL Bean jacket. And the comfort range of 15 degrees F to -30 degrees F can't be beat in this town. The price for this jacket is excellent. We are really happy with our purchase. Thanks everyone at LL Bean.

The jacket is well worth the price. We camp and hike in the winter and this will be a regular to take along. I have a small frame and usually wear a size small or 4. The jacket fit in the small for me, but the sleves were short. I ordered up and the jacket is a little big but the sleves are a better length. If want normal size sleves, order up. The jacket is great otherwise!
