I bought two jackets for my grandchildren. they were just the right style. What really pleased me was how soft the fabric was. Only problem was that the sizing was very much too small. We had checked the sizing chart and saw that their normal size was right for them, but very disappointed it didn't work out.

This jacket is light weight,easy to work in, and very cozy! It fits perfect,and I can even wear layers underneath it. I haven't worn it in the coldest weather yet,but can't wait to try it out....thanks LLBean!
I love the coat! I was hesitant to order it as it doesn't come in petite (am 5"2'-130lbs) and coats, in particular, tend to be over-sized on my frame. However, I read the reviews, a few of which suggested the sleeves were too short on taller girls. So I thought I'd take a chance and I'm glad I did. I ordered the small and the length of the sleeve is perfect for a vertically challenged gal. The overall fit is excellent with room for a sweater. Often goose down coats make you look huge, but this one is fitted, and I would also say it may be somewhere in between a petite and a regular in cut. At any rate, I'm amazed I found a coat that fit so well at such a great price. The fleece at the neck feels cozy, and is a bit darker than pictured, which I like, as I ordered the coat in black, and the darker grey fleece is not as noticeable as a lighter grey would be against the black. The other colors look so pretty I'd be tempted to order another color if it ever goes on sale.
