I normally wear a Medium, sized up to a Large in this in order to wear bulky sweaters, etc. under it. It's a perfect fit. I wore it all winter long and received many compliments. The best feature, for me, was the cuffs and collar lining, made of very soft fleece that helped keep the wind out here in upstate NY. Would definitely recommend!!!
This jacket is so wonderfully comfortable. I put it on and did not want to take it off. It is warm and fells like your second skin. The cuffs and collar are soft and warm.
Great jacket. Surprisingly light-weight, yet very warm. I make several trips to the mountains every year and needed something that was not a 10 pound jacket. This is a wonderful buy. Thanks L.L.Bean for another great product!!
This goose down jacket is nice and warm for northwest Arkansas winters. I haven't tested it in really cold weather, but it's good in the 30s. I was quite cozy walking in the rain this morning at 42 degrees, and the rain just beads up on the fabric. The interior fleece cuff keeps wind from whistling up your arm.
The jacket could have a little more ease--a heavy sweater will not fit comfortably. However, I tried two other jackets from LLBean in the same size before this, and they were both way too snug. This jacket is also a little longer than the others, so more of you stays warm.
