I recently purchased this goose down for the purpose of this unexpected Winter Snap in Houston. Although Ive lived in DC for the past 8 years I never really invested in a winter coat that was worth keeping warm in frigid DC nights. Now back in Houston I said I refuse to go another night being cold. The jacket is extremely lightweight (my package blew in the streets from the wind), highly affordable and stands up to our high humidity and low temps (it ranged from 49-38 degrees w/a humidity of 38%-78% while I was working outside). I could've gone the more expensive route with another brand but I'm so pleased I saved $40 in getting this jacket. I only weigh around 100lbs and I'm anemic, so as milk would say, "it does a body good!"
I just got back from the Smokies. I am always cold and can feel the cold weather to my bones. I really did not want this feeling anymore so I decided to purchase jackets from this site. This jacket not only keeps you warm but is also water repellent and very stylish. Love the jacket in Lily Pond. I also loved the inner lining with the cuffs at the wrist. This feature hugs your wrist keeping the warmth in. You can also zip the jacket all the way up to your neck and this provides a barrier to protect your neck from the cold weather. Great Jacket and excellent value!! This jacket is great for people that feel so cold they feel it to the bone.
