This jacket is so warm and a great value. I especially like the knitted cuffs inside the sleeves and the styling of the hood. Having a two-way zipper is handy for sitting in this thigh-length jacket.
I ordered XL but had to return it for L. I wore it once and froze. I'm used to having a jkt with fleece lining for warmth, and this doesn't. Will keep it as I love the color (periwinkle) and style. By the way I found the jkt ran big.

I've had many, many LL Bean parkas over the years, and for every day winter use, this is my favorite one by far. Living in Maine, so always having a sweater on from December-March, this coat is roomy enough for many layers - but it's incredibly lightweight and does not feel or look bulky. The ability to cinch the waist helps give you more shape, and the detachable hood is a great addition. Length is perfect for cold winter days.
