I got this jacket b/c my old winter coat was losing all it's feathers.
When this jacket came I said it could not possibly keep me warm b/c it weighs almost nothing. But I figured I should give it a try before returning it.
Well, I was wrong it has been freezing here in NY & it has kept me warm during the blizzard of 2010.
I really cannot say enough good things about it. I also love the hood b/c it has no fur so you do not look like a crazy mountain woman & it keeps all the wind out.
You will not be disappointed...I wish they would make an ankle length one @ this great price.
I like this coat. It seems true to size, and is warm but not bulky. The adjustable cuffs come in handy. The length is just right, as I prefer the parka rather than the shorter jacket. Overall, I'm pleased with this product.

I am a GA shopper and recently purchased this parka to take on a trip to South Dakota. It was wonderful and kept me warm the entire trip. We spent most of our time outside viewing Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse Memorial, the Badlands, and the beautiful countryside and this parka was excellent and just what I needed. I have since purchased another one in the fuchsia for the cold days in GA and to walk our active dogs. It keeps me nice and toasty, I love it too.

I read reviews and quite a few said the sleeves were too short. I hate too short so I ordered a regular size. The sleeves were way too long on me so I returned for a petite.
More pockets would be useful but the ones there are fine.
