This is a great jacket for the price -- as good as many that are far more expensive. Not too bulky, atrractive, good features (hood attachment, velcro wrist closures, zip pockets). I do wish the wrist opening had a larger diameter to fit over warm, bulky gloves or mittens, but that's my only complaint.

The goose down hooded parka has fit my needs perfectly. I wanted a warm coat that will last. It is light but well made. The inside pocket is perfect for your cell phone or what ever. Which is a nice feature when you don't want to carry a purse. The length covers your backside. The coat comes in fashionable colors. I have purchased other coats from LL Bean and the quality is true to it's description. My last winter coat lasted 15 years. So if you want a quality made coat and you want to stay warm you can trust LL Bean to get right the first time.
I love this coat! I needed a warm coat that was not a burden to wear. I do many outdoor chores that require a hood and coverage, and I love the way this coat fits. It is roomy, comfortable, has great pockets and even has a drawstring to cinch in the waist. I am looking forward to a wonderful, warm winter in my new parka!
