I ordered a petite first off, because the color I wanted wasn't available in my size and color (medium black). Now I'm glad I did, because the fit is PERFECT! I'm 5'4" (borderline petite) and weigh 145. I was a little worried about the arm length after reading other reviewers, so I called customer service which was very helpful in giving me measurements for a petite. I still wasn't sure, so I took a chance. The sleeves are actually the perfect length and the coat length itself is perfect also (covers my derriere). I'm also very happy with the shape, pretty streamline for a down coat - not so puffy - plus the inner drawstring at the waist helps give it a little more feminine silhouette. It seems very warm, but I haven't tested it out for any extended periods of time outside yet. It looks like it has good construction, better than higher priced down coats I've seen in the department stores. I'll just have to see how it stands the test of time this winter.
