I am happy with this parka. In another life I would have liked one made of an outer fabric other than nylon 'cause the nylon is noisy.
HOWEVER, the PRICE was RIGHT!
Thought I might be ordering too late to wear but in the land of Oz (go JAY- HAWKS), we continue to have frigid temps so I am getting more than my money's worth in comfort.
This parka is fabulous! It is light as a feather yet very warm. I walked for over an hour in it today in 30 degree weather but did not feel the slightest chill. I think I will buy all my winter jackets from LL Bean from now on. I only wish there was a kids' version.
This jacket is warm, the color is lovely, and I am almost completely satisfied. The sleeves are a trifle short (possibly because I am not a complete "petite"). Also, I still haven't figured out how those ties (e.g., to snug up the hood) work. Can you help with this?
