This parka is lightweight but very warm. It's not bulky like the Goose Down coats of the past. I especially like the inside zipper pocket and the velcro wrist closures.
I have gotten so many compliments on this coat - my friends have even asked to try it on! It's NOT bulky or too puffy and is just right for people on the go. I am very impressed with this coat and look forward to wearing it all winter!!
I was nervous about buying a jacket on the internet without trying it on, but the measurements were really accurate and it fits perfect! It's really soft and comfortable. Not bulky. I love wearing this jacket. This should really keep me warm this winter! I gave it 4 out of 5 stars because I haven't experienced this jacket in the cold temps yet.
I have not yet had occasion to wear this item but it arrived exactly as described in the catalog. It is another example of LLBean quality and attention to detail. I especially liked the knitted cuffs on the sleeve lining, the interior pocket and the ease with which the zippers operate. The hood is easily removed yet appears as an integral part of the jacket when attached.
