I purchased this jacket after reading all its very good reviews. I was very satisfied with the fit, and its ability to keep me warm. However, from Day 1 the jacket shed feathers everywhere. I called customer service 2x and it was suggested to me to try to wash the jacket but this did not help. The back of my drivers seat in my car is covered with feathers, my clothes get feathers on them. At any given moment you can see feathers poking out from the seams all over the jacket.The construction of this jacket is very poor. I am returning the jacket and will try something else for next winter.

I waited to write a review simply because I had to test this coat first.I am HORRIBLE at buying coats but I am extremely happy I bought this coat. It keeps me warm in below zero degree Chicago winters. I'm 5'3, 105 lbs and the XS Black fits me beautifully. It is not bulky and underneathe I always wear my LLBean fleece zipper sweater for added warmth. The sleeves are a little short but with my sweater under I just pull the sleeves out from under the coat and it blends in as if it was part of the coat. I want to buy myself another one just in case they stop making them!

I ordered my 1st Down hooded parka during and end of season sale with limited size and color choices last year and wore it almost everyday until spring finally arrived. The fit and sleeve length is true to size. The longer length kept me warm on my dog walks. The hood is adjustable and great in the snow or wind and it is a plus that it zips off. The 2 way zipper is heavy duty and works well. I ordered the bright navy this winter so I have 1 to wear while the other is being washed. Great Parka.

I am peased beyond expectations with the ski parka. It REALLY is good for 5 below. It has been that of late in teh mountains with wind chill and I still sweat in my arm pits!. Washable and durable. I chose the fuscha with grey lining. I highly recommend this parka.
