This vest is very light weight and comfortable without sacrificing warmth. It seems to adjust to the temperature, keeping you warm in a wide range of temperatures but not letting you get hot.
I hate the cold and LL Bean gear keeps me warm while walking the dog. Otherwise, I would never go outside in the winter!

Bought this for my dear wife who, likely harried a bit by holiday shopping, accidentally left her original LLB down vest in a shopping cart ... somewhere. She loves this one more; nicer color than orig., more useful features (pockets etc), down fill seems greater and feels to be distributed better throughout the garment, and full zipper instead of orig. snaps. It's a winner here -- ergo, so am I. Thanks, again, LL Bean.
