This vest was offered on sale in colors I like, so I ordered one. I loved the pure down filling (some competitors offer only down and feathers) and the ratio of warmth to weight and bulk. But I found that the bust shaping didn't fit my body too well. It's a pity, because the styling looks feminine and sleek.

I live in a warm climate but bought this vest to leave at my mom's house in the northeast where I visit often since she has colder weather. It is just perfect by itself or layered under a fleece jacket for extra warmth. I'm a medium in most things, but bought a small in the vest because I wanted it a tad snug to wear under coats. Exactly what I needed. Not bulky and very versatile -perfect for shopping trips or going on walks outside.
In fact, I liked it so much, I bought one for my mom. She is elderly and has trouble getting in/out of the car due to arthritis. This might sound odd, but it is so much easier for her to maneuver when she wears the vest. It's not super bulky, she can get her arms in/out easily, and the smooth external material allows her to slide more easily against the cloth seats instead of getting stuck. Hey, sometimes it's the little things in life! She wears it a lot - even in a bit colder weather than it's rated for since it helps her mobility and she is generally being dropped off right at the door so not very exposed. Just a thought for those who might have a similar situation.
