i usually am a medium-large fit on top...so i ordered a large since i would be wearing this item over shirts/sweaters,etc. however, the large was too big, especially in the bust area. i returned the large, got a medium instead and love it!
I love the vest for the most part. It is warm, light, well made. But I would like to see two improvements: The arm holes are a little small, I'd like them a bit bigger. The main thing is that I dislike that light gray tricot inside the collar. I'm not fond of the fabric; it snags a bit, but what I hate is the light color, it gets stained by the oil in your skin, makeup, lipstick if you aren't careful. I don't like that at all and if it did not have that I'd have one of these in every color. Despite the arm holes!
The tricot is really bad in the men's vest--it snags badly on beard stubble.
the two woman's down vests we ordered for Christmas gifts were not acceptable. the colors seemed a 'off' and were not seen as attractive. the vests did not appear to be down (not very puffy, skimpy) and the style and cut were odd....seemed to run small(most LL clothing tends to run 'large'). the odd thing.....these vests were cut and sewn as meant to accentuate a "woman's bosoms"??....sorry, two thumbs down
