My wife is very cold natured so she loves to wear this vest under other coats. She says it does the job of keeping her warm even when we are hiking in the winter.She likes how it looks too. She is very impressed with theis item.
I bought this vest with the intention of wearing it occasionally. Well now, haven't I been mistaken. I wear it all the time!!! Inside, outside, at work, at church and even over my jammies at night around the house. I love the lined pockets and liner at the top by my face. I acually look forward to zipping it up all the way just so I can feel the fuzzy soft liner at the top. I've washed it several times & it's always came out like new. Fluffs up perfect in the dryer and there is no "feather" smell after drying! People would be insane to purchase a down vest else where. This is truely an Awesome Vest.
Perfect weight for cool weather - love the fit and fleece pockets and collar. The inside pocket really should open at the top - side zip is awkward and must be zipped to prevent things from falling out.
