This vest is a really good buy. It is warm and traditional L.L. Bean quality. It is snug, however, as it is fitted and the xl is on the small side. I'm keeping it and it is a nice vest.
I bought it in pond which turned out to be a little brighter than I'd thought - but really fine. Got another one for my husband. He is not a down vest sort of person, but has stopped wearing his windbreaker in the house - and looks and admits he feels cozy in his vest!
Love its warmth, its light weight. I got it in the green (windy poplar) color and it matches a pair of green gloves I own. Hurrah! This vest is a winner, its classic but hip as well. For example, I think my mom wants one...Christmas, mom!
This is a beautiful feminine style vest with nice seaming. It is not as bulky as most vests and comes in great colors. The pull tabs for the zippers are new and add a nice touch to the overall look.
