I can't heat my rented apartment above 55-60 degrees (the insulation is essentially non existent and heat goes right out the walls). That means that I'm ALWAYS freezing during the winter. I bought this vest as a way to try to stay warm inside. It's fabulous and helps a ton! I will say that I ordered a size down from my normal size based on other reviews on the site and found that it was too small. So, I exchanged it for what I would consider to be my normal size and it fits perfectly!

Love this vest! I ordered it in periwinkle. The color is beautiful-pastel, but still bright. The vest is feather-light, as you would expect with down, and perfect for what I was looking for! My only disappointment with this product is that over the years, I have come to love and rely on Bean's use of the two-way zipper, and this vest lacks that feature. Other than that, I am thrilled with my vest!
This vest is exactly what I was looking for. I bought it in blue which turns out to be a nice change from my usual black. This is a classy looking well designed product. The collar has a soft cotton lining that feels comfortable around your neck when zipped all the way up or looks attractive when the zipper is open at the necklline. I find this perfect for a bulky sweater underneath and is very warm. It has an inside pocket with a zipper along with zip pockets which I find very useful. The vest runs slightly larger than size indicated (maybe to accommodate big sweaters). If you are very slim you might consider going with a smaller size.
