I purchased the 'taupe' Ragg Wool Sweater for my father for Christmas, who is an elderly gentleman, born in England. He absolutely loves the sweater. Besides the fact that it looks very smart on him, it is warm for winter, and the color is a 'neutral' which will go with any slacks or shirts that he owns. Because he is older, he has trouble using his fingers, so he is very grateful for the zipper front, rather than fumbling with buttons. He has several cardigans with buttons, and they are too difficult to close when it is cold - or he looses a button. He also likes the pockets. I'm a little concerned it may 'pill' with heavy wear, but time will only tell. For the price, it is the best casual sweater for winter around. The button front lambs wool cardigans are his favorite for more formal occassions.
I sent the red sweater to my son and he absolutely loved it. Said the fit and color were great and he began wearing it the day it arrived! I then sent a blue one to my cousin and he is pretty hard to please and he loved it as well. I think this will be my 'go to' gift for the men in my life.
