Color, quality, sizing all just what I expected... I just couldn't seem to find what I was looking for anywhere. I hadn't ordered from LLB in quite some time, but when I came across one of my other old favorites the idea came to me to try them again. Glad I did! (PS - I rated it only 4 stars because my 1st choices for color and size were sold out!)
My husband is always cold at work and this beautiful sweater solved the problem. It is stylish AND warm. He wears it almost every day. Others in his office have complemented him on the sweater. Thank you LLBean.
I bought this item to replace a medium blue heather ragg wool henley that had finally given up the ghost. The mock neck is a poor replacement. I realize that fashion change is driven by the desire to get the customer to buy the new "fashionable" item. I'm a total failure. Comfort and practicality come first although color is important. The mock collar is uncomfortable for people with real world neck lengths. A shirt collar plus the stand up mock is also too much bulk under a jacket.
I ordered the "carbon navy" unable to tell what it really looked like from the pictures or imagine what that name actually meant. Not medium blue or heather nor really navy blue either but not bad.
The weight of this ragg compared to my old one is too light. I also looked at the commando sweater whose style I really liked and had ordered and returned because it was impractically heavy for California wear.
I'm still trying to decided whether or not to keep it.
I like sweaters that have a full zipper and are made of good quality. I found both in this sweater. I get hot when i bundle up and the full zipper helps when i need to cool down. I was not a big fan of wool because it itches alot if you are wearing a short sleeve shirt, not this sweater. It is soft and very comfortable plus it keeps me warm on those not so cold winter days..
