While I really liked how the sweater kept me warm and comfortable at my office, I just could not get over the fact that it made me look much older than I am. I usually feel cold, so a sweater is a necessity for me at the office, but I'd rather it not add a decade to my looks. Maybe it was the color (taupe) and the fact that I have to wear it with khakis instead of jeans. I thought I looked like my 50+ year old boss, and that just won't do. Exchanging it for a sweater or fleece that is a little more modern.
I am a long term LLBean customer. This is the first time I ever found a size Large sweater or shirt from LLBean to be skimpy. I had to exchange it for an XL which fit OK. Now find it is pilling more than I'd like. Not up to the expected LLB quality.
This is a replacement for a similar ragg sweater bought many years ago from LL Bean, and worn constantly during the winter. It finally wore out.
The new sweater has become an immediate favorite. I like it so much that I'm ordering another of a different color. This sweater seems to have solved the only problem with the old one: It doesn't pill.
I particularly like the full-zip feature. The weight is just right for fall into winter.
