I researched and researched which organizer to purchase for an 11 day vacation. I landed with this one and boy did I pick well! I'm an admitted over packer with lots of beauty related products that I "need"! Everything fit in this bag except about 4 bottles of sunscreen, (which I wanted wrapped by themselves anyway). I probably even had a little extra room. There are tons of compartments to organize it all which is really nice and keeps it very orderly. The toiletry bag was packed with toiletries and then packed into a suitcase. It survived perfectly and hung in the bathroom once we were on the cruise ship. As for it being flimsy, it kind of is, but once you have the stuff in it, it's really fine.
I like the bag, it seems like it is very durable and pretty much what everyone else is saying. What I am disappointed in is the monogram. I waited so long to finally get one of these bags and have never had anything monogrammed before, I have seen LLBean products before and usually the monogram is quite cute. On this bag the letters are very small and get lost on the bag, it is not what I expected.
I guess I like it BUT it's extremely small (no dimensions were given) and there are too many zipper pockets to the point of being silly. This has the effect of taking up more of what little room there is.
I am ordering a replacement toiletry bag, as the one we were given as a gift about 10+ years ago has finally gotten a few rips in the water-proof lining portions. Not that it isn't usable in the least...but I want to replace it.
We have used both the family & large sizes for long trips & vacations, and day-trips. The quality is stellar. If we hadn't put a few "sharp" items (e.g. razor blades that weren't covered) in the bag, it would still be as good as new.
