I purchased the medium-sized travel kit after having the family-sized for many years. The size is absolutely perfect for me, and I am able to bring travel sizes as well as some full-sized toiletries. The zippered side pockets are great for toothbrush/toothpaste, and the interior pockets contain my makeup and even my makeup brushes. Sturdily made, I expect to be using this for many, many years to come. By the way, after about six years of constant use and washings (hanging to dry), my family-sized kit looks brand new. I couldn't decide between the medium and small personal organizer but opted for the medium. I'm glad I did as it holds everything I need to make travelling a luxury. I later ordered the small organizer for my son, and would consider it adequate for most men's needs but we ladies have a little more to tote around while travelling!
i used this personal organizer while doing field work all summer. the smallest size was perfect and held everything i needed--toiletry items, brushes, medicines, etc for the entire 3 months. the hook held strong, though tended to get caught in the mesh pockets frequently, but it is a harmless problem.
