I purchased these for Christmas gifts and filled them, thinking practical - not fun. My family loved them! I hoped they would use them specifically for camping, but we use them for weekend get-aways, the kids take theirs on overnights to friends. It's great because all their stuff is handy, it hangs on the back of the door/or hook and you can leave everything right in it. And since I filled them each with stuff we don't need to unpack it everytime, we just pick up and go with it. I would highly recommend this. My husband and kids have the medium and I have the large (sometimes we share when we we'll be in the same place). Awesome product.
This has been the best personal toiletry bag I've found/and used, bar none. I buy the medium size. Each of our 4 kids has had one or two over the years. Our oldest son once lost his in a motel when it slipped off the baggage cart. He was 9. I had to replace it immediately, same color/monogram. I had to replace another for a different son but made the mistake of buying something in a hurry locally. My son was so unhappy with the replacement and wanted his "old" kit back again. I'm back again, buying yet another LLBean personal organizer. They are perfect for travel, week long camps, and now living in the dorms. My 21 yr. old still uses his "replacement" kit from when he was 9 and after 11 years it's still holding up!
I like all of the compartments and built in holders for various sized items. Easy to find whatever has been packed in it. I got the large size for our family travels. It seems to be large enough for the 4 of us, but we don't use a lot of "product."
Great toiletry kit. I travel very frequently. This fits in a zip bag for air travel if you are trying to work the system a bit. Not sure I need the mirror but it's a nice touch. It fits all of my necessities and doesn't take too much space in my carry on.
