I had seen a few video reviews of this product on You Tube and wanted to buy it for a long time. With some upcoming travel plans, I went ahead and put it on my "to do" list and I am glad I did. I *LOVE* luggage and travel accessories so I am always looking for the next best product and I'd have to say this is it. It can hold so much stuff and still not be cumbersome. This would be the perfect size for any 1 person traveling for any length of time, I think. There is room for anything you could need or want on a trip and plenty of straps, dividers and pockets to keep it all organized. I am not a girly girl and don't particularly like those color schemes so I chose the carbon flower print (NO pink but still plenty feminine) and I love it. It was only delivered an hour ago, but I can't wait to pack it for my next trip!! Highly recommended and it will probably become my go to gift idea as well!!! :)
I just purchased a new bag to replace the bag I bought 8 years ago. I bought the bag for travel in my motor home, hiking, boating and frequent international travel. The bag held up well. The zipped pockets were ample for razor, toothbrush, tooth paste, medications, etc. I am replacing the bag as the original was stolen from the rental car last year. I looked at other products and this one best met my needs. The exterior pockets were perfect for medication bottles, I could stick two in each. The removable mesh pouch held travel sized shampoo, soap and deodorants well and was nice to be able to take it into the shower and then let it air dry before returning it to the bag. I think the mirror is the only down fall but when compared to the mirrors in some of the rest areas and campsites, it was useful but still not great. The pocket on the flap was good for such things as small quick dry camping towel, but I used it for small flat items such as passport or blister pack medications. The material was rugged enough for the use I put it through and actually looked in great condition when it was stolen. I found that I packed more stuff into this bag than the standard shave kit I had in the military. I can't wait to get my new bag! Yes, it is pricey but in my estimation, well worth the money.
This bag is everything I would expect from LL Bean. And the monogram is perfect. The only thing is it's a little big for me. I would love, love these great new colors in the small toiletry bag.
I bought this when another good brand toilet kit wore down, and this one is working out superbly. It has good shoulders--that is, it hangs well without to much center sag, as my former bag tended to do. It is well constructed and has ample pockets plus slots for toothbrushes, medicine tubes and other containers. I use the side pockets for items I like separated. I might have been able to get by with a medium, but I am glad I chose the large in case I want to add other items. My trips are usually one to three weeks.
