I bought two small toiletry bags for Christmas presents for my nephews. I'm dissappointed in the size of these bags...The diminsions were clearly on the website but upon arrival I've decided the only thing that would fit in there would be maybe chapstick..its really small.. I ordered the large one for our son and its a little better...Be really careful about the size you are ordering...I had them personalized so I can't return them...will be buying them an alternate gift as I don't think they will enjoy using these at all...I love LL Bean just not these items.
I bought the large bag in 2003 and it looks brand new. It's a little big, so it doesn't really fit in a suitcase well (which if you aren't flying isn't a problem), but it's the best toiletry bag I've ever bought and well worth the investment!
We travel with full size shampoo, conditioner and shower gel with no problem.
I purchased a large toiletry bag for my husband and myself about 5 years ago. Whether we are going to the Florida Keys for three weeks or a trip to the Smoky Mountains, this bag holds everything both of us need for the entire time. Sturdy, waterproof and large pockets hold full size shampoos, deodorants, lotions and everything else we need for our stay away from home. The hanging feature is excellent as well. I would definitely recommend this to all travelers, whether they are planning days or weeks away from home. I restock each time we return so we're ready to go at a moment's notice. 5 star for sure!
I received one of these ten years ago (2004), and it has withstood heavy wear and abuse without a problem. Apart from stains from various spills and leaks, it is as good as new. The hook, zippers, mesh, and compartments are still in great shape. Definitely built to last. Makes an excellent graduation gift.
