I ordered a medium in this bag and absolutely love it - I do a lot of traveling and I wish that I had ordered this bag a long time ago. It looks small, but it holds A LOT of stuff.
To give you an idea of the capacity of the medium-sized bag, here is what I packed on a recent, long-weekend trip: Travel size toothpaste, full-sized toothbrush, make-up (base, eye liner, mascara, sharpener, blush, make-up brush, 3 - 4 tubes of lipgloss, 2 tubes of lipstick), hair gel, small lotion, two pairs of eyeglassses in their cases, 7-day vitamin/pill container, and a small case for jewelry. And there was STILL room for more stuff.
The top handle also slides easily over my luggage handle. I really love this bag!!
A friend's mother bought the large bag for our high school graduation gift in 2001, in our favorite colors. I thought it was kinda dumb at the time. However, 13 years later I still use it for every trip. I fits everything from my hair dryer to make up bag. This year I bought one for my husband and mother. I know they will love it as much as I do. It is still clean and looks the same as the day it was given to me. No rips... snags... or pulls and it has been all over the globe with me! Love, love, love this bag!!!
I have been through numerous toiletry bags but this is the first I've really been pleased with. It folds flat for storage and when in use, holds a lot. I love the buffalo plaid. As one other reviewer pointed out, the mirror came broken; it is very cheap and flimsy. Beans needs to do something about it if they are going to sell it with a mirror and the Velcro to hold it in place. Other than the mirror, it is a great bag. It could easily hold toiletries for several weeks.
I bought this toiletry bag during a trip through Boston last summer. I was in need of a new bag and figured I'd try it. Wow, have I been impressed! It holds lots, folds easily, hangs in just about any washroom and doesn't clutter where counters are limited. It easily holds all of my needs. My only regret is that I didn't try it sooner!
