My husband travels a lot for his job! He received his first LL Bean Personal Organizer over 8 years ago and it's going strong. The only reason why I am purchasing him a new one is because he complains that the large size he has is too large for his simple toiletry needs. So I'm ordering him the next size down... This Personal Organizer has been through months of military deployments in the desert, at sea and everywhere in between. I would highly recommend this product to frequent travelers. OH! And my husband is not one to take good care of his things. His belongings take a good beating. So this Organizer has really held up!
I have the medium bag right now and love it! As others mentioned, it's great for short trips and is capable of holding a lot of travel sized stuff or 2-3 full size bottles. The plastic lined pockets are great for preventing spills and the hook makes it perfect for hanging on the door in the hotel bathroom so things don't get lost or the room get cluttered. I have just ordered the family size for more extended trips and suspect I will be happy with it as well! The only thing I wish was that it came in the same colors as the duffels do.
I have purchased from LLBean for over 25 years and this is the first time I have been dissatisfied with an item. The grab handle on top of the bag broke the first time I used it.
I purchased 7 of these for Christmas this past year. I have 5 kids ages 12 -22. I got the medium bag and it seems like the perfect size for everyone. I was suprised how much the college age kids use them. They keep everything in them and take them to the dorm bathrooms. They like it because they can hang it on the towel rack. Not often I find something they all like!
