I have a larger older version of this bag. I need something smaller for the gym. I bought the smallest one for that purpose. The improvement of the side pockets is really great. I can hang it up and get to everything with out digging. I also like that you can pull out the soap carrier to take in the shower with you. It compact size still has tons of room. LOVE IT.
I'm currently on a extended tour (1-month) on a career move. My 'medium' is perfect for myself, even on an super extended tour. Everything stated works as it is intended. (NOTE: Medium will not fit a portable hair dryer + electric shaver when the bag is 1/2 full! Get the larger. Front pocket should not be fully stuffed with items or the kit will be hard to close [zip-up]) you may want to invest in some other travel bottles/accessories to accommodate your needs. Mirror is good size, but could be a bit bigger.
I love these things. I buy them as gifts for friends. They are solidly built, pockets are well thought out. I own 2 sizes - medium for weekend or longer trips and the small which I take to the gym.
