Okay - they made a great bag, but there's no "body" to the material so everything just flops around inside like a shopping bag unless the bag in jammed full. Plus, the hook is silly small. It's too small for a doorknob, it's too small for a shower curtain rod. Yes, it fits over a towel rod, but that's about it... and the hook seems too flimsy if the bag is very full. Sorry, what's the point of having a great bag if you can't hang it up??
I ordered the family bag. There was no supporting bottom, so everything was likeit was tossed in a bag. I had one for years and loved it. It is a great bag to take to the gym. Very disappointed. Sent it back immediately.
My bag is well over 10 years old the first style LLBean ever had and it still looks great after all the traveling and gym trips. I would highly recommend any of LLBeans products but this product is tried and true I stand by it 200%
I have now purchased 6 of these bags with monograms over the last 5 years. I bought the first for my son upon his HS Graduation as he was going away to live in a dormitory setting. He thought it was the greatest. I then bought one for each of my nephews as they graduated HS. Each one told me it was the most useful gift ever. One has now graduated college and told me he still uses it. There is plenty of room, pockets, a mirror, and hooks for hanging the bag on the shower. I will continue to give these as gifts as there are more children, nieces, and nephews coming. Thanks LLBean for providing me this wonderful option!
