I used to love these bags before you changed it and removed some interior pockets and placed them in separate outside zip pockets instead. I am already opening the whole bag to get to everything, I don't want to have to open two separate side zip pockets as well to get to 2 more items.... Im not sure why this change was made a few years ago??? Now I have so many less pockets inside, and im not going to bother to use the outside pockets. I will bet that most people do not use those separate outside pockets. Please bring back the old version!!! This applies to all sizes of this bag... Thank you.
I just used the small toiletry bag for the first time on vacation this past week, and I'm sold. I've used other cases before, but this is the best, hands down. I purchased the yellow small toiletry bag on sale (and with a $10 coupon), thinking I'd give it a shot, and now I know what I'll be getting as gifts for family members who travel from now on. The bright yellow color was easy to spot within my luggage (better than the old black one I'd been using), and will guarantee that I never overlook it when packing up after a trip. I love the hook attached to the inside-- it allowed me to hang the entire bag from the know on the linen closet in my bathroom, freeing up valuable counter space for my husband and two boys. I was a bit worried that, while hanging open, my boys would knock items out of it, but everything stayed put. I had room inside for my comb, contacts, makeup, toothbrush/paste/floss, hairspray, lotions, jewelry, hair accessories, and deodorant with room to spare. Everything was easily visible and accessible (unlike my old bag, which you needed to rummage through to find a random item) but secure. You will not be disappointed!
I wasn't happy with my travel organizer, and we had several trips coming up. So, when I saw this bag in the catalog and received a $10 off coupon as well, I was willing to try it. My favorite feature is the hook, as my other bag unfolded flat and I had to find space on what was sometimes a very small counter. The other feature I like is that, in the same amount of space, I can store more, thereby eliminating the need for additional cosmetic bags. I chose the yellow and love the bright, vibrant color. I'm sure I won't leave it behind on a door or towel bar.
I love this travel bag. I'm back on the Bean site to buy another one because after 10+ years of constant travel my old one is just too shabby! The only major complaint that I have with this bag is that the front zipper is just wrong wrong wrong! With the zipper at the top of the closed bag everything is fine... but when the bag is hanging up you can't use the outside pocket at all.... everything falls out. Moving the zipper to the bottom of the outside would still allow all items to be accessed when the bag is closed (usually when that pocket is used) but still would all for it to be usable when the bag is hanging.
