I almost didn't order this item thinking I didn't need it. I was wrong. I can't believe how much stuff fits into it and its so lightweight. This bag has replaced three bags I used to carry and has saved me so much time getting ready in the morning. Thank you L.L. Bean
In the past, I would give this to only female graduates from high school/college, but have since given to men as well. This also makes a great shower/wedding gift for a couple to take on a honeymoon and use for many years to come; I normally add the toiletries to complete the package THE BEST "go to" gift for the person who has everything!!!
I just received this item today. I was disappointed in the thinness of the fabric, being that this bag is supposed to be sturdy enough to hold full bottles of shampoo and all the other hefty items that an entire family might want to have while traveling. It cannot compare with a travel case I bought roughly ten years ago from LLBean, because the older case had a heavy twill-like fabric that resisted sagging from weight. I can see that if I fully load this case, it might have a little more resistance than a doubled-up plastic bag, that is, I'm sure it will no longer resemble a rectangle. I'm glad I got the yellow color ($10 cheaper) and used my promo coupon so that I didn't pay the full price. Then I really would have been angry.
This is perfect for travelling--especially to Europe, where there is little or no 'counter space' in the bathrooms. You can hang this from the shower rod or doorknob! It holds everything you could possibly need for your trip, and then some. This is a must-have for the traveller.
