I recently used the small organizer on a two week backpacking trip through Eastern Europe. While the organizer is a bit heavy to carry around in a 40 liter backpack, I found that the quality and functionality of the organizer made the little bit of extra weight worth it. I am a very light packer and found that the small organizer had more than enough room to fit my travel-size toiletries, glasses, first aid supplies, jewelry, and makeup. I would caution that although the elastic pockets hold most items in, you should definitely unzip the front with the organizer on its back or else things may fall out. The hook was invaluable - I was staying in hostels the entire trip and it was great for hanging the organizer off of a bunk bed rail or a bathroom doorknob. I would highly recommend this product.
I have used the bag for a couple of months now and love it. I have a suggestion to make.....I'd like to have the fabric on the outside pockets to be made of a stretchy material. I must be trying to put too much in those pockets. I keep my night time makeup on one side and replacement make-up on the other. The center is reserved for currently used daily make-up. Great product. I would buy again and will recommend the organizer to others.
When traveling in Europe, this is a "must have". The Europeans do not have counter spaces in the bathrooms. This is functional and well made, thus perfect for European travel. And it isn't too large for athe seasoned traveler.
Items in family size organizer are in danger of spilling out on the floor when bag is hanging.

Items in family size organizer crowd to the center and are in danger of falling out when bag is hanging.
Design flaws with the internal structure of the family size organizer keep the product from earning more than 2 stars.
PROS (FAMILY SIZE ORGANIZER): * Holds full-size bottles (shampoo, conditioner, etc.). * Holds travel hair dryer. * Storage space can accommodate multiple people and multi-day trips.
CONS (FAMILY SIZE ORGANIZER): * Cannot sit upright on a counter without collapsing in on itself. * When organizer is hanging, items in the bottom will crowd in to the center, and are in danger of spilling out on to the floor. * Bottom of organizer lacks stability. This causes items to fall over when the organizer is hanging. * Front of organizer (mesh zipper pocket) lacks stability. This causes items to nearly spill out on to the floor when organizer is hanging.
NOTE: To help combat the lack of stability in the bottom and mesh zipper pocket, I cut up an old 3-ring binder and used the plastic-coated cardboard pieces to for support. The added rigidity in both areas helped alleviated the "cons" outlined above.
