I ordered the big family size organizer and was disappointed. The bottom has no support whatsoever so the contents sag when it's picked up. If it had a firm bottom and divided segments on the interior it would have been a hit for me. Not what I expected so sending it back.
pros: Full size bottles fit The long strap allows you to carry it like a messenger bag
cons: It is so roomy that it needs divisions within it so everything doesn't just smush together in the bottom. I ultimately put one of those purse organizers in it so stuff would stay where I put it. Perhaps one of those dividers you can put in your sock drawer to keep things organized would work, too?
When hanging on a door, it is really front heavy. I always take it down when not in use and put it back up when I need it, as it seems inevitable something is going to rip at some point.
It is the size of a small cooler. So, you really can't pack it in your suitcase. Consider it a piece of luggage all to itself.
Bottom line: I'm glad I ordered it. I just think there are a few changes that would make this bag, in this size, more functional.
I bought one for each of my boys when they were in middle school and had them monogramed (two different colors). That was the best Christmas presents ever year. I also got them the large rolling duffle bags to match - monogramed, as well as sleeping bags- monogramed. It may sound boring, but it has been one of the smartest things I have ever done. they all have been used so many times I can't even count. They are active youths and now my son is in college and still using these items. He just lost his toiletry bag at a hotel on a family trip this summer, so I am going to order the larger one for him to replace it for this Christmas. When Bean gets stuff right, you can't beat Bean!!
I read reviews on this personal organizer and knew that it was exactly what I was looking for when planning my upcoming honeymoon. With international travel, I want to travel as light as possible. This bag is smaller than it appears in the photos, but once it is opened up, there is TONS of room (surprisingly). There are more pockets and holders and zippers than I can count. There will be more than enough room for my fiance and me to pack our toiletries for our 6-day trip. It is obviously high quality and I'm hoping lasts as long as some of the reviewers' bags. Can't wait to use it!
