I've had the extra large family tote for over 10 years and I love it. My son is getting older and we wanted something for his stuff for overnight trips, so we ordered the small. Unfortunately, it's way too small. We only wanted to put a kids shampoo bottle, kids body wash, hair gel, spray bottle and toothbrush/paste and they all don't fit. Since we had it monogrammed, we can't return it, but I doubt we'll be able to use it. Definitely go for a bigger size tote than what you are thinking when ordering.
I shopped extensively with other sites for the "perfect" toiletry organizer and am glad I chose this medium size for traveling for any length of time. I love the Cobalt Aloha color which was on backorder for 2 weeks but I was patient and wanted to wait. It was available when they said it would be. I condensed two other bags into this one and it truly keeps you organized with all of the zippered pockets and holders. I am using mostly small refillable containers for toiletries and keep a small zip lock inside to transfer my liquids for the plane. It is made so well and another reviewer noted that it is washable as well. Thank you LLBean!
One of the best travel organizers I've ever owned and used. I have had my small, and my medium size bags for 3 years now and they are both so versatile, user friendly, and great for hanging up on the door for use. Easy to keep clean, and to find things in them. Holds a LOT of personal items! I have gotten one for each of my family members and they love them too! I am so glad LL Bean is still stocking and selling them! And one last thing - made with QUALITY!!! Thanks for such a terrific product LL Bean!!
