I've been looking for a good travel bag for a long time. One that hangs easily anywhere, fits all of my toiletries, without being too bulky. This one is just right! I'm a 39 yr old mom, travel a lot with family. This is sturdy, lots of great compartments for keeping things organized. I wear glasses and bring contact solution, small bottles of shampoo/conditioner, hair products etc. This fits it all easily! Nice removable (velcro) hanging shampoo holder to bring into shower, that dries pretty quickly. Like the side/top pockets for easy to get to items. I'll be getting one for our kids!
I love these organizers! I've been using the medium sized organizer for at least 10 years, and have taken it all over the world, and it's still going strong. Occasionally I empty it out and toss it in the washing machine and then air-dry it, and it's as good as new. I like to pack light, and this organizer allows me to do that and still feel at home, with my normal products and small appliances, wherever I am. And, there's no digging around to find what I need, as can happen with other "ditty bags." I like the organizer so much that I bought my husband the same size, and he loves it. These allow us to tote products into a hotel bathroom and then put them back in our luggage, rather than leaving them in plain view in the bathroom.
I have just ordered the small size (previously viewed in the store) for use at the gym. The size will be perfect for hanging in my locker, and now I will be able to leave "gym versions" of my toiletries at the gym, rather than carrying them in my gym bag on each visit.
The lack of rigidity in the bag is a PLUS, not a drawback, because it allows you to pack it into a tight space. Bottles can tip over, and pressure can change, so it's always a good idea to cover flip-top containers with plastic bags to avoid spills if you will be travelling with the bag.
I purchased this for my daughter with expected travel in her future. I intend to purchase a whole set of matching luggage for her so this was my first purchase and she was thrilled and excited to receive future purchases. We were both happy with the color and construction... it feels extremely durable and I have high hopes for the longevity of this item as well as any future items purchased to match.
I bought the family size personal organizer, and used it for the first time over the Christmas holidays. It packed well, and was easy to carry, but the problems began during the 3 1/2 hour car ride. Since there is no supporting bottom or ribs inside to hold the sides up, the large bottles sitting in the bottom sagged and a shampoo bottle turned over and popped open, spilling shampoo into the bottom of the bag. I had to completely unpack the bag and wash off every item that had come in contact with the shampoo, and then get all the soap out of the bag itself (not an easy task with the waterproof areas inside). I lost about 1/4 of a bottle of an expensive custom-scented shampoo, as well as a good bit of time cleaning up the mess, and this was before I even hung the bag up in the bathroom!! I would give the bag 5 stars if it would sit up and hold its shape and not let the contents sag the way they do. You need a plastic bottom and some stiffening in the sides in a bag this large, so the contents don't dump out the way mine did.
