I was looking for a solution to organize my sons (ages 7 and 3) toiletries while traveling and especially on campouts. In the past we have using the good ole zip locs but this last campout halted that tradition when I pack one and so did my husband. But the end all was when my 7 year old who uses special eczema lotion and it got mixed up with my "potent" body lotion (you know highly scented, acids, etc...). Well needless to say, he spent the rest of the campout on Benadryl therefore groggy. I got 2 smalls since they don't carry much and most of their items are kept in travel size containers. It really is worth to keep things organized and together in one place especially when you have to factor in meds and other special sundries. They loved the plaid pattern. My 7 year old said it looked cool. I loved the price, may have to get more. Next campout is in April 2011. Can't wait to use it :)
I bought the large sized personal organizer some years ago, and every expedition I have been on since I've used this. To this day, it looks as good as new. Recently used this for a 3 week business trip to London and it held everything I could possibly need, plus more!
I just today laid my family size organizer to rest...have had it for many years and gotten lots of miles out of it. My husband and son have the small and medium and love them. That said, I have ordered two other family size organizers over the past couple of years that are the only LLBean things I've returned because of quality. They no longer have a sturdy bottom that prevents the organizer from sagging from all of the things I pack into it--they are flimsy compared to my old one and now I'm on the hunt for another organizer that meets my needs as well as LLBeans did.
