ProsDurable, Great Value, Performing as Expected, versatile, well thought out design, compact for packing
Received the medium bag that I ordered for my father for Christmas 2010, and was very pleasantly surprised to find that LLBean has made improvements to an already fantastic travel bag! Ways to keep things even more secure and more tidy.
We own two small sized bags and a medium bag (for family of four use, but the two men keep their razors elsewhere when we share the big bag). For one person, the small is more than ample room to put absolutely all the toiletries one could want.
The medium will work excellently for my father on their trips, when he has to travel with all kinds of "denture stuff", including the overnight case/dish, his electric or regular razor, the usual toiletries, plus his medications!
The waterproof areas are truly waterproof, one can see what is inside. The removable mirror and other components make it extremely versatile.
We particularly love that our bags don't need to rest on a less than clean counter or floor.
I ordered 4 of these at the same time, 3 came in looking great. The threads and size of monogram were good. The fourth one, Green, was a dark color and was monogramed with a dark thread. Was not given a choice on thread color at time of ordering. It did not show up well and then the size of the monogram was about 1/2 the size of the other 3 I ordered. Very nice travel item, lots of room, light weight...but I was very unhappy with the monogram on the dark green one. Use caution on the monograming items.
