I thought the hat was a cute complement to the Double L snowman sweater but it's too light weight and doesn't fully cover my 3-and-a-half-year old's ears. It's certainly not for the colder climates. We live in Virginia and our winters are rather mild relative to other parts of the country so I decided to keep it. And I'd skip it if you have a 4-year old because it runs small and you can't order it larger than 4T.
This hat is great! My daughter wanted to wear hers all day(they day we got it) even though it was 80 degrees! The hat is very cute & I'm assuming it's comfy as she loves to wear it. It's lightweight so it provides some warmth and protection without making my daughter sweaty.
