I love quilts, but my house in Southern Cal is close to the beach - not rustic, so most quilts don't fit in. This quilt is perfect - the sand dollar design makes it "beachy" and the lovely light colors have a more contemporary feel than most quilts. I also got the shams and throw pillow. They are well make and brighten the whole room. I have not washed it yet, but it appears very well made. I'm very pleased!
Quality is outstanding and the quilt adds a breath of fresh air to my little beach cottage by the sea! Love it! The only thing I wish is that they had a butter colored bed skirt to go with it...that's been tough to find!
I bought this for a queen bed...love the style and colors, but it is too small for a queen bed...it barely covers the sides of the mattress, and on the ends it's even shorter...to get it to barely cover the pillows (without even tucking in) it only goes down a couple inches at the bottom!! It looks very skimpy! I don't know why they can't make these more generously sized. I know it's labeled as Full/Queen, but even still, if it says queen, it should fit queen. I think it'd be small even on a full bed.
