I was looking for something new, not the usual quilt patterns. I had seen it in the catalog but it really caught my eye in the store. I like the different colors around the center square with the quilted sanddollar design, and looks wonderful in my room.
I love this spread, shams and pillows I also bought here at L.L. Bean. I had another comforter set, also from LLB, for years, but when I saw this I decided it was time for an update.
I have not been sorry. Living in Florida I love the beachy theme. But our Master is right off the living room so I don't like the room to look too "beddy". This was the perfect answer.
The colors as shown are true. The only complaint I have is there was no bed skirt to match offered. It was quite a challenge to find the perfect bed skirt, but I was successful and I think the picture I'm including will tell the whole story better than I can.
Have long admired this quilt and I am so glad I ordered, it's beautiful! The colors are slightly more pale than the photo but I love the quilt just the same. Looks so summery!
This is a very nice, well made quilt and the color scheme worked well in the room. However, I bought a twin size and it should be at least 10 inches longer and 10 inches wider. It looks skimpy on the single bed. The picture in the catalog looks to be a bigger size quilt that is on a smaller size bed. I did not get the matching shams as the pattern lends itself to having TWO pillows which does not work for a single bed.
