Love them. So comfortable, easy on and off. Have worn them daily for general activities since they arrived. Confident the comfort will carry over to hiking and paddling. They fit perfectly - ordered my usual side. No rub - like wearing slippers. Replacement for pair of Nike open sandals that I had 15+years & loved. Look forward to owning these forever. Note - holes in bottom that let water out also let water in... but kind of like it :-) Great price - they were on sale and I had LLBean credit card reward coupons.
I am very pleased with these sandals except for one thing. They lack a resilient cushion for the balls of my feet, which don't have much natural padding. I have similar Privo sandals which do have the cushion. These Explorer sandals have heavy duty soles but no padding.The balls of my feet get sore after challenging walks.

I'm so glad I read the reviews. This is the first time I've ever bought shoes online b/c my feet are so picky. I was not dissapointed! Bought these for wearing on the boat and they're awesome- providing great stability, lightweight, comfortable fit, and won't weigh down in the water if you have to jump in. Highly recommend and will be getting for husband as well!
