When I first tried on the sandal it was very comfortable, although after walking around for an hour or so the drainage holes started to hurt the bottom of my feet. The next day I wore them again and after they were broken in a bit more I didn't even notice the drainage holes. These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. I'm not just saying this. They have never given me a blister. If you have an issue with the holes I urge you DO NOT return them right away. Give them a chance to break in. You will not regret it!! These are great for every terrain, and I live in Oregon where it always rains, these sandals are great for all weather.
I was so excited to use this water shoe while watering at the nursery where I work. The shoe looked just like the picture and discription, color included. It felt very durable and well constructed. The material was soft and pliable, extremely important in a shoe. It was comfortable walking around the house when I tried it on after it arrived. But when I wore it while watering and standing OUCH! The footbed has slits in it for water to pass through, but my foot would get wedged in the slits making it sting when shifting weight or walking. Very disappointing. Sadly I sent them back.
